  1. Shalane Flanagan lands on her heel on her right foot, but lands mid-foot on her left foot. As long as you land softly and not disrupt your forward momentum, I think it's OK to be a heel striker.

  2. Hmm…I was wanting to know how high I should be picking up my legs…but still the video was informative to someone that is new to the sport.

  3. no matter what I try my hips always end up doing the exact opposite of what they're supposed to be doing, it's just the way my legs want to land. This has always been a major issue for me, and bc of it my hips (not muscle around it, actually the bone) get super achey whenever I run.

    I got fitted for running shoes just last week and found out that I have a high arch and that I pronate, more so in my left leg. Which at least explains why it's always my left hip that is more sore. I'm just stumped.
